Multi-location & expansion funding

Open the next location without starving the last one.

The hardest part of a second or third location is paying for it while the first one keeps running. Bayside is a Miami-based capital advisory firm. We help established owners structure expansion funding around the cash flow they already have, so growth doesn’t put the original business at risk.

Where the cash gets stuck

Every new location borrows from the ones you already have.

01

The original location pays for everything

Without outside capital, the build-out, the deposits and the hiring come out of the reserves that run the business today.

02

The new site takes time to break even

Payments start before the new location earns. The structure has to survive that ramp.

03

Lenders underwrite the whole business

Debt service coverage — the cash you generate against what you owe in payments — is measured across every location. One weak site or heavy MCA payments can hold back the next approval.

04

Each deal shapes the next

The structure you choose for location two decides what you can get for location three.

Client stories

Real projects. Real numbers.

Client story · build-out

An 8-year-old Miami restaurant was opening a second location and paying for the build-out out of the first one’s reserves.

We structured a $125,000 revolving line of credit instead of another MCA, so the owner could draw in stages as contractor payments came due.

The build-out finished without draining the original location. The owner is now planning a third.

“These guys move fast and kept me informed throughout the entire process. No surprises!”

Who we work with

Built for established operators.

Bayside works with established businesses, usually with at least two years in business, around $40K or more in monthly revenue, and a funding need of $100K or more. What each lender requires depends on the product.

You may be a strong fit if you run:

  • Healthcare practices adding an office
  • Fitness and wellness operators adding a studio
  • Service and trade companies opening a new branch or yard

Before you apply

What lenders look at before they fund location two.

A new location has no history, so lenders underwrite the business you already run. Bring these and we can show you what is realistic.

Meet your funding advisors
  • Business bank statements for the existing locations. The Capital Strategy Report starts with 3–4 months.
  • Two years of business tax returns, if you want bank or SBA options on the table.
  • The lease, the build-out budget and an opening timeline for the new location.
  • A simple ramp plan: when the new site should cover its own costs.
  • A list of any loans or MCAs outstanding, with balances and payments.

Quick questions

Multi-location funding, answered.

Can the new location qualify on its own?

Usually not. A new site has no operating history, so lenders underwrite the business you already run. Your current locations’ cash flow carries the file.

Should I clean up existing MCA debt before I expand?

If the payments take a large share of your deposits, often yes. Consolidating first can lower payments and reopen bank and SBA options for the expansion itself. We show you both sequences side by side.

Is this only for restaurants?

No. Expansion funding works the same way across industries: restaurants, healthcare practices, fitness studios, service and trade companies. What changes is the collateral and how lenders read your revenue.

Do you work with businesses outside Miami?

Yes. We are based in Miami and focused on South Florida, and our lender network serves qualified businesses nationwide.
